Draw today's kind note.

KindNote is a little jar of encouragement notes — every one of them written in advance by our team. Open today's note, save it as a card, or pass it on to someone who could use it.

One honest detail before you draw: nobody sent you this note, and it isn't from another visitor. All 120 notes in the jar were written in advance by the KindNote team — you're drawing from a jar we filled on purpose, and we think that's exactly as warm.

Today — …

Today's note is sealed and ready.

Everyone who visits today opens the same note. It changes at midnight.

Passing a note on is the whole point: download the card or copy the text, then send it through your own messaging app to someone who could use it today.

Want another one?

Today's note is one per day — but the jar stays open. Extra notes are drawn at random from the same pool of 120 notes our team wrote.

Write a note to keep

Sometimes the note you need most is one you write yourself — for a future grey day, or just to get a kind sentence out of your head and onto paper.

Kept notes are saved only in this browser, on this device. They are never sent to us, never delivered to anyone, and never leave your device — like paper in a drawer. To give a note away, copy it and send it yourself.

Your kept notes

Nothing kept yet. Your drawer is empty — write the first one above.

    Frequently asked questions

Who wrote the note I received?

We did. Every note on KindNote was written in advance by our small team and kept in one pool. When you draw, the site picks from that pool — your note was not written by another visitor, and nobody here sends notes to people they don't know.

Is today's note the same for everyone?

Yes. Today's note is chosen by the date, so everyone who visits KindNote today opens the same note. It changes at midnight, your local time. Want more than one? You can keep drawing extra notes from the jar — they're picked at random from the same pool.

How do I give a note to a friend?

By sharing it yourself: download the note as a card image, or copy the text, then send it through your own messaging app, exactly like passing a note across a table. KindNote doesn't deliver notes and never asks for anyone's contact details.

What happens to notes I write myself?

Notes you write in the 'write a note to keep' box are saved only in your browser, on this device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete them on this page at any time, and clearing your browser data removes them completely.

    Is KindNote free?

Yes — free to use, no sign-up, supported by ads. Everything runs in your browser, so the jar works even on a slow connection.

KindNote runs entirely in your browser — fast, free, no sign-up.
